I have now been on the K3 on Thursdays for over 2 years, and as usual, time has flown. Another sign I am getting old.
Thursdays are an electric mix of current chart, Dance and R&B mixed with the best of the classics. Old skool, vs Nu Skool. Week in, week out. Not as much cheese as a Friday, but we know you like it so we throw a sprinkle in for good measure. All decades are represented, with all genres (compare to Fridays which are PURE Cheese).
Expect to hear the likes of Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas, Justin, Girls Aloud, Madonna along with the more classical offerings from Five, Backstreet Boys, NSync, Michael Jackson, Queen, & Kylie. Do not be scared by the inclusion of stuff like Busted, Mcfly, Whigfield, S Club 7, The Village People, Los Del Rio, Scatman, and Baywatch. Equally, do not be disturbed by some harder dance offerings from N Trance, the Prodigy, Faithless, 2 Unlimited and Snap. We will consider just about anything, so please ask!
Thursdays are a happy crowd who love that bit of variety, never knowing what will come next old or new, cheese or dance, RnB or the more commercial indie offerings that have crossed over into mainstream charts.
The earlier you come, the more chance of playing the songs you want, especially if you want some of the more obscure or bizarre musical offerings (was the Hamster Dance REALLY ever released!?!! And Scatman? As for The Wombling Wombles
).
The club & bar are now open 10pm-3am, with free entry before 11pm & All Drinks 241.
